I feel like I’ve been lying to her. She’s accepted me as a mate, and doesn’t even know what happened with Sola. The decision I had to make. Lucifer is a wicked soul, always controlling everyone. I was no exception.

Sola was the light in the Dark Court. She was the one everyone loved. She was kind and made the people feel safe. Lucifer was always so volatile. Her hatred and selfishness fueled her anger and hostility. Sola quickly gained the love of the people, something her mother would never have.

A beacon in the dark, Sola was the reason why so many people joined the cause. She created this safe space for the Fae to be free to do what they wanted. She was suppose to be Queen until I killed her.

My story isn’t a happy one. Born to a peasant family who lived in a small Fae town. My mother was beautiful, long blond hair and crystal green eyes. She wove Earth magic like it was as easy as breathing. Her flowers were some of the most beautiful in Faerie, and the gods took notice. They realized her talent and she was sent to Asgard to create a flower room for Odin’s queen, Frigg. It was her birthday and there was to be only the best for her.

My mother created a grand ballroom out of plant life. Vines and branches twisted so tightly together that it was safe from the elements. Jasmine and roses hung from those vines, making the room smell like Valhalla itself. Tables and chairs were constructed the same. Decorative vases and blooms dotted the hall and the great big banners of freesia and ivy draped across the space. I’m told it was the most beautiful room ever created with earth magic.

That night of the birthday party, my mother was invited to attend. She was given a dress to wear and servants attended to her every need. She told me she felt like a princess walking amongst the gods.

Loki found her shortly after and seduced her. She didn’t stand a chance from his charms. He was cunning and the best kisser she’d ever kissed, or so she told me. From their tryst that night, two babies were conceived; my sister and I. When we were born, Loki came to Faerie and looked upon us. My traits favored my mother, and my sister Hel favored Loki’s. He took her from my mother and brought her to Asgard to live. Telling my mother it was what was best for her. She believed him. She was to enamored not too.

He left us that day and I haven't seen him since. My mother promised to never tell anyone about my father or my birth. She tried to hide my god powers, and even changed my name from Fenrir. I took my wolf form when I was 18, and since then I’ve been working for Lucifer

When I came to Court for my powers, Lucifer found out what I was. She used it against me.
